Santa Barbara is an incredible spot for authentic Peruvian food right here in New Jersey! The flavors are rich, the portions are generous, and the Lomo Saltado and ceviche are some of the best around. The staff makes you feel right at home, and the prices are very fair for the quality and taste. If you’re in Belleville, Newark, or Bloomfield, make the trip — it’s worth it! I don't appreciate walking into a restaurant and being ignored by the waitress. The waitress told us she would take our order. Ten minutes pass by and the waitress still ignores me and my wife. The waitress made no eye contact and no gesture that she would be ready. After 14 minutes I told my wife that we should leave. The waitress, a full figured woman who wore jeans with long black hair tied in a ponie tail flat out ignored us as we walked out. She made no attemp lt to even ask us if everything was okay. I have eaten here before and never had an issue with the other waitresses. Im extremely disappointed because my wife and me love Peruvian food. We went online and found a fantastic place in North Arlington, NJ. If you want great food and respectful professional service, I recommend Myrna Peruvian restaurant in North Arlington NJ.
I do not recommend ceviche , not fresh, no tasty. It looks like they cooked 2 days ago.
